Robert W Fisher, 85, of Gibsonburg died Monday morning at the Heritage In n, Bowling Green, where he had been a resident for the past four months.

He was born in Helena to the now deceased Claude and Annie (Bowe) Fisher a nd he married Emma Howe Oct. 4, 1958 in Monroe MI. She died Nov. 7, 199 9.

Robert was a graduate of Gibsonburg High School and served in the U.S. Ar my during World War II. Robert loved woodworking and gardening.

Surviving are sons David W of Gibsonburg, Michael H of Bowling Green, D an (Virginia) and Don (Diana) all of Columbus; and three grandchildre n. In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded by brothers Herbe rt and Ronald and sisters Norma Keller, Beatrice Walter and Celia Schel l.

Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Herman-Kinn-Veh Funer al Home, Gibsonburg.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial: West Union Cemetery with military rites by the Gibsonburg po st of the American Legion.

Memorials: Donor's choice.
