Robert Colver, a Quaker, and Anna Colver, witnessed a Barnegat deed of Richard Man to Thomas Culver of Shrewsbury, Monmouth Co., 13 Dec. 1748 (ibid.). It is the deed of John Collver and Sarah his wife of Roxbury, Morris Co., N.J., to Robert Collver of the same, on 2 Nov. 1752, and in particular Robert's sale of this interest, which proves Robert to be their son and reveals the identity of John's wife Sarah (ante, 22:109-10; Middletown, Conn., Deeds, 14:328, 329). Robert's will, proved 16 Jan. 1783, calls him of Roxbury, N.J., and names wife Anne; his first-born, David; daus. Mercy Hill, Anne Waier, Lavinah Saverin, Esther Hann; Timothv Colver and Jacob Hann, executors (N.J. Wills, 6:87)."
