Robert Noel Crumrin, 79, of rural West York died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 1997 at the Burnsides Nursing Home in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 6 at the Prust-Hosch Funeral Chapel in West Union. Burial is in the Ohio Cemetery, northwest of West Union, with military graveside rites by West Union American Legion Post #1130. Visitation was held Wednesday after 4 p.m. and Thursday from 7 a.m. until service time.
He was born June 15, 1918 in Melrose Township, Clark County, the son of Fred and Lottie (Snavely) Crumrin. He married Mary Alexander on May 20, 1951.
Survivors include his wife Mary; one daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Michael Miller of Terre Haute, Ind.; one brother and sister-in-law, Lyman and Geneva Crumrin of rural Marshall; one granddaughter, Megan Miller of Terre Haute, Ind. and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Crumrin and one sister, Elizabeth Wamock.
Mr. Crumrin was a farmer. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
