Army Serial Number 36 654 539. He was killed as the result of injuries received when a truck upset per "Report of Death, The Adjutant General's Office, War Department". Place of death listed as Brienon-sur-Armaneon, France. He initially was buried in a civilian cemetery in Joigny, France (Department L'Yonne). He was reburied in Solers, France, located approximately sixteen miles southeast of Paris, and ten miles north and slightly east of Melun, both in France. He was apparently then reburied in Epinal U.S. Military Cemetery, France. He was a member of Troop "A", 106 Cav Rcn Squad (Mecz) |
