Bluck Funeral services for Robert Bluck were held Monday, December 31, 1984, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Rev. John Moran officiating. Pallbearers were Giles Blietz, William Gentz, James McNally, Donald Voss, Ralph Welch, and Milton Klima. Honorary pallbearers were Herberth Lenth, Barney Whittle, Vern Haberichter, Michael Schofield, and Erwin Lembke. Burial was in the church cemetery. Schultz's Funeral Home was in charge of services. Robert Wesley Bluck, the son of David and Mary Jane (Roberts) Bluck, was born August 10, 1898, at Grossville, Tenn. He received his education in Milwaukee, Wis., Giard, Township, District #1, and McGregor High School. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Monona, where he was a member. On June 26, 1927, he was united in marriage to Charlotte Rose (Lottie) Klima at St. Patrick's. A son was born to this union. He and Lottie farmed east of Monona until their retirement to Monona in 1972. He died Thursday, December 27, 1984, at the Good Samaritan Center, Waukon, where he had been a resident for the past year. Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Owen; a sister, Beulah Page; and a step great granddaughter. Surviving are his wife Lottie; his son Robert O. and daughter-in-law Gertrude of Preston, Minn.; 7 step grandchildren; 25 step great grandchildren; and sisters-in-law Evelyn Klima and Marie Klima and Marie Bluck. THANK YOU for all of your sympathy, cards, prayers, telephone calls, memorials and food at the time of the loss of our loved one. Thank you Father Moran, Father Duenas and Sister Agnes Marie for his spiritual care. The Good Samaritan Center for their excellent care.
