Published: Dec 01, 2002 BELL Robert K ------ Robert K Bell, 88, of Elmore OH, passed away Friday, November 29, 200 2, at Bay Park Community Hospital, Oregon OH. Mr. Bell was born on Janua ry 27, 1914, in Gibsonburg OH, to Charles A and Dorothy (Smith) Bel l. On August 17, 1939, in Auburn, IN, he married Nadine E Bell and she pre ceded him in death in 1973. On August 2, 1976, in Toledo OH, he married F rances K Bell and she preceded him in death in 2002. Mr. Bell worked for t he former AutoLite Company, Toledo OH, as a production worker for 10 year s; he also worked as a maintenance worker for the Genoa area schools f or 10 years and at the OH Turnpike for 10 years, retiring in 1976. Mr. Be ll lived in Ft. MeyersFL, and Oregon OH, for several years before movi ng to the Genoa Retirement Village in March 1998. Mr. Bell was a memb er of the St. John's United Church of Christ, Genoa. He is survived by his sons, Allen R (Pat) Bell of Perrysburg OH, Thom as L (Kathy) Bell of Elmore OH, and Terry L (Sandy) Bell of Keiser, OR; d aughters, Carol S (Robert) Banks of Ormond BeachFL, and Jane M Quinn of Or egon OH; step son, James (Judy) Sloan of Oregon OH; step daughters, Jani ce (Dan) Jones of Oregon OH, and Carol Beard of Northwood; 14 grandchildr en, 19 great-grand-children, 7 step grandchildren, and 12 step great-grand children. Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Nadin e; 2nd wife, Frances; brothers, Raymond, Howard and Clarence Bell; infa nt sister, Norma Mae Bell; grandchildren, Jody Bell, David Bell and Samant ha Proch. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, December 2, 200 2, at the Robinson-Henn-Brossia Funeral Home, Genoa, with internment to fo llow in the West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg OH. Visitation will be on Sun day, December 1, 2002, from 2-9 p.m. at the Robinson-Henn-Brossia Funer al Home, Genoa. Memorial contributions may be made to the Genoa Retireme nt Village or St. John's United Church of Christ, Genoa. |
