Robert G Auxter April 15, 1920 -- Jan. 11, 2004

Robert G Auxter, 83, of N Main St, Lindsey, died Sunday at Countryside Con tinuing Care Center.

He was born in Fremont to the now-deceased Harry H and Catherine (Gahn) Au xter. He graduated from Ross High School in 1937 and attended The OH Sta te University. He married Vanda Berry on Jan. 23, 1942, in Woodville. S he died April 8, 2003.

Mr. Auxter was a lifelong farmer, retiring in 1980, and a lifelong reside nt of Lindsey.

Surviving are sons Thomas (Cynthia) Auxter of Lindsey and Wm (Ruth) Auxt er of Fremont; daughters Ann Horner of Columbus and Jyl Auxter of Del Ma r, Calif.; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial service: 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lind sey. Pastor Todd Gates will officiate.

Immediately following the service, family and friends are invited to the c hurch hall for lunch and fellowship.

Burial: Lindsey Cemetery.
