He was a widower with one or more children before he married Bess. He was an accountant and auditor for the Sunshine Laundry, Houston, Texas. They did most of the cleaning, laundring and fur storage that was done in the area of Harris County, Texas in those early days. I met him on only one occasion and found him to be very friendly and nice. He died in his doctor's office of an acute heart attack; he is buried in Laundale Cemetery, Houston, Texas. This information is from Jeanette A. Jones, a cousin of mine and niece of Bess.
