The brother (of Robert Terrell), Richmond Terrell, had settled in the Parish of Blisland, New Kent County, when he was a young man. He made a deed in which he mentioned his brother, William Terrell as being in Virginia in 1670. So it is conclusive that the numerous Terrells in Virginia have descended from these two brothers. The family of Richmond Terrell found its way into Hanover and Louisa; and the descendants of Richmond Terrell became members of the Society of Friends adn have left in the Quaker Records an accurate account of the family.
