Richard D. "RD" Willhoite, 83, Fairbury, passed away Wednesday (Aug. 7, 2013) at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community, Chenoa.
He was born July 6, 1930 in Waldo Township, the son of Hap Clay and Cecil Johnson Willhoite. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Joey Willhoite and one brother, Gerald Willhoite. He first married Frances Ingold on July 6, 1950. He then married Sheila Tieman Kerrins on June 30, 1990. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Bonnie (Bill) Bolen, Ruby (Ron) Lopeman-Ronimous, Freda (Toby Dalton) Bradbury and DeWayne (Vickie) Willhoite; stepchildren, Darren (Peg) Kerrins and Keenan (Lila) Kerrins; 23 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eileen (Jim) Robinson and Shirley Filas and brother, DeWayne (Marion) Willhoite.
He graduated from Art Fellers Auctioneer College in Cissna Park. He has been an auctioneer for more than 50 years.
