    Richard Reynolds died at his home about six miles northeast of Lancaster Wednesday, March 8, 1911, aged about 73 years. He has been a resident of Schuyler County many years.

    Uncle Dick Reynolds died Wednesday and was burried Thursday in the Darby Cemetery. He leaves an aged wife and five daughters and a host of friends to mourn their loss.

    Richard Reynolds was born in Lawerence county, Ind., January 4, 1838, and departed this life March 8, 1911, aged 73 years, 2 months and 4 days. He came to Schuyler county, Mo., with his parents in 1848, and was married to Sarah Francis Norman March 13, 1862. To this union ten children were born. The wife and six children survive him, five being present at his death. Mrs. Elvira Belle, Mrs. Geo. Rockhold, Mrs. Harvey Casteel, Mrs. Elmer Payton, Mrs. Tom Evans. Mrs. Charley Moore, living at a distance, was not able to be present. He was a member of the Baptist church for a number of years. He was a dutiful husband, a kind father, a good neighbor and loved by all who knew him.
