Will dated Mar 1694/5- bequeathed "my house and land commonly called "Worlds End", 400 acres with 200 acres frontin river to my dear wife Katherine for life and at her death to daughter Sarah. 1637-listed as a headwright (added 20 years to get approx birth date) Va Gen. Vol 21 pp 246-47 states that Richard Perrin m. Katherine Royall, b. ca 1650, dau. of Joseph ROYALL and Katherine BANKS who married second Capt. Henry Isham. Ch: Katherine m. Thomas Farrar; Richard died bet 1686-1695; Mary m. Robert Napier; Sarah, m. Wm. Cocke; Ann died bet 1686-1695; and possibly, a girl born after will written.

Will Transcript

In the name of God Amen this 16th day of Marcy A.D. 1694/5, I Richard Perrin of the County and Parish of Henrico, Planter, being Sick in body but in perfect sense and memory thanks be to God for it Do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and form following, first and principally I resigne my Soul into the hand of God who gave it [to] me, and for my body I commend it to the earth to be buryed in Christian manner Nothing doubting but at the Gen'll Resurrection I shall I shall [sic] receive the same again by the almighty power of God. And as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it has Pleased God to Bless me with in this life, I Give and Bequeath the same as followeth.
First I Give and Bequeath my house & land where I low live commonly known and called by the name of the worlds End and by Estimation hour hundred Acres being two hundred Acres breadth on ye River and for Running into the woods till it makes up the said quantity four hundred Acres be the same more or less to be dear and loving wife Katherine Perrin during her Naturall life, and after her decease I give and Bequeath the aforesd four hundred Acres of Land and houses to my well beloved Daughter Sarah Perrin and to the heirs of her body Lawfully begotten and if it should please God to take her the said Sarah Perrin out of this world without her having a child or children then my will in and I do Give and Bequeath the aforesd four hundred Acres of Land houses &c. to my loving Daughter Mary Napier and after her decease I give and Bequeath it to her Eldest Sone and his heirs and in default of a Sone to her Eldest daughter and her heires [heirs], but if it should please God that the Child which my wife now Goeth with Should be a body then I Give and bequeath the aforesd. four hundred Acres of Land houses &c., to ___ his heirs and assigns forever.
I Give and bequeath to my loving wife Katherine Perrin my Negro man called Jack.
I Give and bequeath to my Grandson William Farrar two Silver Spoones and one Silver dram cup
I give and bequeath to my Grandson Farrar not yet baptized two Silver Spoones
I give and Bequeath to my Grandson Bouth Napier one featherbed & bolster one pair of Curtins & Vallens, one rugg, one pair of blanketts & two Silver Spoons.
I give and bequeath to my two Daughters Vizt. Katherine Farrar and Mary Napier Each of them one Shilling Sterline a peice [piece].
I Give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Napier one old Silver Porrenger and two old Silver Spoones; I give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Sarah Farrar one Ewe.
I Give and Bequeath to my Dear and Loving wife Katherine Perrin and to my Loving Daughter Sarah Perrin all ye Remaining part of my personall Estate as Goods Debts and Chattels to be equally divided between them between them [sic] after my debts & funerall Charges being Paid.
And if this my last Will and Testament I make and ordaine my said wife Katherine Perrin and my said Daughter Sarah Perrin Joynt Executrix of this my last will & c.
