U.S. Army Ret. : Oldham, Richard - born 3/1/1745 in Fauquier County, virginia; entered service 1777 in Caswell County, North Carolina where resided, in brother Captain John Oldham's company in North Carolina regiment; granted Pension 1832 in Estill County, Kentucky, as Richard Sr.; Revolutionary War soldier Captain Richard Oldham Jr. abt. age 70 & Hezekiah Oldham abt. age 60 (both no kinship given) made affidavit 1833 in Madison County, Kentucky; query letter in file 1916 from descendant Mrs. Georgia Oldham Livermore, Altus, Oklahoma; query letter in file says soldier died 4/21/1833 leaving widow Ann. F-S14053, R1840. References
