Richard L. Goetz, 70, formerly of Helena, died Thursday afternoon at Heartland of Waterville.

He was born to the now-deceased Harold and Creta (Heffner) Goetz in Helena. Richard was a 1955 graduate of Gibsonburg High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 -- 1960 and was a former employee at Chrysler Corp. in Rossford until being disabled in 1983.

Richard is survived by sisters, Patricia Frederick of Gibsonburg, Barbara Sams of Helena; brothers, Robert and Donald, both of Helena and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Fritz Merkes officiating.

Burial: Chestnut Grove Cemetery.

Memorials: To the Trinity United Methodist Church, Gibsonburg or Hospice of Northwest OH.
