"Byrtle I. Frobose, 83, of Montgomery Village died Dec. 8 at Casey House in Rockville. Mrs. Frobose grew up in Cedar Grove. She retired after 25 years with Suburban Trust Bank of Hyattsville, starting out in Germantown and Gaithersburg. She was the wife of the late Richard H. Frobose Sr. She was the daughter of the late Haller Sr. and Anna Pope Snyder. Surviving are one stepson, Richard Frobose Jr. and one step-granddaughter, Carisa Frobose, both of Pleasanton, Calif.; three stepsons from a former marriage, Robert, Mack and Jack Hawkins; and several nieces and nephews and cousins. Mrs. Frobose was preceded in death by two brothers, Haller Jr. and Forest P. Snyder; a sister, Eva Leaman; and a stepson, Lawrence Hawkins Jr. A service was held Dec. 12 at the DeVol Funeral Home, Gaithersburg. The Rev. J. Gregory Pennington of Lakewood Church of God, Clarksburg, officiated.
