FORMER MIDDLE TOWNSHIP TRUSTEE CALLED BY DEATH

Lee Dillon, age 84, a former trustee of Middle Township, died at his home in Pittsboro, Saturday evening, from injuries he received in a fall. Mr. Dillon had lived on a farm north of Pittsboro before retiring when he moved to Pittsboro. He served as trustee of Middle Township from 1908 to 1914 and was ever active in Democratic politics. His wife preceded him in death. He was a member of the Pittsboro Odd Fellows lodge. Surviving are one son, W.E. Dillon of Pittsboro; four daughter, Ona, who lived with her father, Mrs. Luna Pollard of Indianapolis, Mrs. Millie Smiley of Lebanon, and Mrs. Mary Caldwell of Pittsboro. Funeral services were held at the home, Monday morning, in charge of the Revs. R. Richmond Blake of Jamestown, and Thatcher of Indianapolis. Burial was in the Lizton cemetery.
