In the Name of God Amen. I Richard Bryan of the County of King George being in a very weak state of body but of perfect and sound memory do make my last Will & Testament in manner following.

Item: I give unto my daughter Jane Bryan one feather bed and furniture, three pewter dishes, six pewter plates to be delivered at the day of marriage.
Item: I give unto my son Richard Bryan the plantation whereon I now live to him and his heirs lawfully begotten forever and failing such heirs to my son Anderson Bryan and his heirs lawfully begotten.
Item: I give and bequeath unto my son Anderson Bryan that seat of land whereon John Simpson and his wife now live (the said John Simpson's wife having the land for her life) to him and his heirs lawfully begotten forever and in case he should dye without such heirs, my will is that the said land return to my son Richard Bryan and his heirs forever.
Item; I give unto my son Richard Bryan all my wearing cloths, books of Physick & Chirurgery, Medicines, Instruments & Receipts.
Item: I desire that the remainder of my estate be equally divided between my wife and my two sons Richard & Anderson, my wife having the full use and benefit of the plantation whereon I now live during her natural life.
Item: I desire that my son Nathaniel Bryan be maintain'd at the charge of my Executors hereafter named and if it shall happen that there are any Negroes belonging to my estate at the decease of my wife my will is that they be equally divided between my two sons Richard & Anderson, they continuing to maintain my lame son Nathaniel Bryan during his natural life.
And Lastly I constitute and appoint my dear wife Seth Bryan and my son Richard Bryan to be Executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby disanulling and revoking all other or former will or wills by me heretofore at any time made and confirming this to be my last Will & Testament.
