“Farr, Rex, age 83 of Lawrenceville, Pa. and Allendale, Fla., died Thursday, September 2, 1976, at the home of his son Donald, in Lawrenceville. He was born July 5, 1893 in Tioga County, Pa. and had retired from Ingersoll Rand, Painted Post, NY in 1961, after 18 years of service. Rex had been a farmer for most of his life. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Francis (Mary E.) Sweeney of Syracuse, NY, Mrs Laverne (Ann E.) Kipferl, Lawrenceville, Pa.; four sons, George L. of North Tonawanda, NY, Edward R. and Donald G. both of Lawrenceville, and Rex W. of Eldred, Pa.; two brothers, Robert Lester Farr of Orlando, Fla., and Lowell E. Farr of Syracuse, NY; 39 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be at 2 P. M. tomorrow at the Lawrenceville Methodist Church, Lawrenceville, the Rev. William R. Lusk officiating. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p. m. today at Kuhl Funeral Home, Mansfield, Pa. “
