    Albert Reuben Lamb, son of Joseph Lamb and Frances Beeson, was born 5 March 1776, in Guilford County, North Carolina.

    He was married in Back Creek, Randolph County, North Carolina, on 23 February 1805, to Rachel Newby, born 16 September 1779, the daughter of Samuel Newby & Rachel Pearson. (See Newby Family)

    Albert died in March 1844. After the death of Albert, Rachel and daughter Anna began a wandering journey across the midwest. From Wayne County, Indiana to Hendricks County, Indiana to Morgan County, Indiana, to Parke County, Indiana, to Vermillion County, Illinois, and back to Hendricks County, Indiana.

    Rachel died 6 June 1870, in Hendricks County, buried Spring Hill Monthly Meeting burial grounds

    All of the children were born near Back Creek Monthly Meeting, Randolph County, North Carolina

Rachel Lamb, born about 1816, died after 1860 Census of Parke County, Indiana; according to one source, she married Charles Harrell; according to another, she was married 28 January 1849, in Hendricks County, Indiana, to Isaac Davenport, born about 1797, and died before the 1860 Census; on Census of 1850, they were in Eel River Township, Hendricks County, Indiana
    10. Asenath Lamb, born 5 January 1817; married G-93 Lot Lamb, son of Richard, below.
    11. Anna Lamb, born about 1819, died before 1880, Indiana She lived her life with her mother moving from Quaker settlement to settlement. She was still with her mother at age 58 in Elwood, Vermillion County, Illinois. She never married or had children. It is suspected that she was probably unable to live on her own and that she May have been retarded or mentally ill.
