    Reuben Harrison, son of Battaile and Frances Harrison, married Margaret (Peggy) Franklin on October 9, 1770 probably in Amherst County, Virginia as recorded in their family bible. Peggy was a the daughter of Henry Franklin who was born in 1715 in Amherst County, Virginia and Margaret Peachy Franklin. (Henry and Margaret married in 1736.) Reuben and Peggy's children were:
    1. Elizabeth (Betty) Harrison (born August 24, 1771) in Amherst County, Virginia married Joseph Wyatt sometime after 1800.
    2. Andrew Harrison (born February 21, 1773) died young.
    3. Matilda Caroline (born April 16, 1775) married Reuben Franklin (born May 15, 1769 and died in 1856) on November 2, 1796 in Barren County, Kentucky. He was the son of Henry Franklin, Jr., thus Caroline's first cousin.
    4. Frances White Harrison (born December 9, 1776) married Elijah Brockman (born 1775) on December 22, 1795.
    5. Robert Harrison (born Februrary 15, 1779) married Nancy Payne. Nancy was indentured to a woman who gave her feather pillows for her wedding present. Someone in the Harrison family remarked that Nancy needed the pillows for her horseback ride to Kentucky.
    6. William Harrison had died or received his share as he was not mentioned in Reuben's will.
    7. Reuben Harrison Jr. born November 18, 1789) married Elizabeth T. Hill on April 2, 1805.
    8. Polly Harrison (born in March of 1786) married Matthew Pate on April 4, 1811.
    9. Sally Harrison (born Februrary 11, 1789) married Jonn Nimmo and once lived in Barren County, Kentucky as she was received into Concord Church in 1829.
    10. Judith (Judy) Harrison (born July 4, 1791) married in Barren County, Kentucky in 1818 to Seth Bradshaw who became a Baptist minister.
    11. Samuel Franklin Harrison (born November 10, 1794) married:
    1st.- Lucy Bradshaw on Janurary 14, 1813
    2nd- Harriet Pickety on Decemb er 4, 1826
    3rd- Martha Nuckols on September 23, 1837
