I desire that the perishable part of my Estate be sold shortly after my decease and my Just Debts paid out of the money arising therefrom, which I thank God they are but few and none of Magnitude and after my Debts are paid and all necessary Expenses then it is my will for the ballance of the money arising therefrom to be equally divided among all my children herein after named.
It is my desire that my lands be divided between my eldest son HENRY T. FRANKLIN & my youngest son PEACHY E. FRANKLIN at $2.00 per acre if they think proper to take it at that price. Otherwise they can dispose of it.
If my daughter LUCY C BUSH should be dispose of her farm whereon she now resides, that she have a home on the above named lands directed to be divided betwen my two above-named sons during her natural life. She to pay them a reasonable rent or she may hold it to her and her heirs forever by her paying a fare equvalent for the same.
My slaves to be equally divided amongst my children, namely: HENRY T FRANKLIN, JOHN S. FRANKLIN, LUCY C BUSH, SAMUEL H FRANKLIN & PEACHEY E FRANKLIN. My daughter LUCY C BUSH to have choice of the slaves. At valuation if possible to give the grown slaves choice who they live with and the breeding women to retain as many of their children with them as convenient. My eldest slave Perrener is not considered to be in the division, she is to have her coice which of my above-named children she will live with for she is old and not with no much valuation.
