Word was received Tuesday of the death of Reno Fisher, who passed away Monday morning at Blodgett Memorial Hospital in Grand Rapids where he had been for treatment in the hope of improving his health. The funeral was held at Kent City Thursday under the auspices of the Masonic Lodge, of which he was a member. Interment was at Kent City.

Reno Fisher was born at Three Rivers, Michigan in 1863 and was 60 years old at the time of his death. Besides his wife, he leaves three daughters; Mrs. Arthur Stroud of Muskegon; Mrs. Frank Bullock of Kalamazoo; and Mrs. Arthur Sumner of Jackson. One son, Cecil, of Escanaba; and three brothers, John of Hart; Melvin O. of Crystal Valley; and Roy of Kansas.

Deceased came to Oceana County 43 years ago and had lived on a farm in Crystal and Weare Townships for a number of years and has benn in the employ fo W.R. Roach and Co.. for several years, making his home at Kent City,.
