Howland Simmons (1771-1837) m. 1744 Experience Dunham (1774-1853). 4. Josiah Dunham (1746-1834) m. 1770 Experience Williams (1755-1850). 5. Phineas Williams m. 1754 Mary Spofford Field (d. 1810). Phineas Williams (1734-1820) served in the militia and when Vermont organized its militia he commanded the first company. He was selectman, 1778, of Woodstock, Vt., where he died. He was born in Mansfield, Conn.
