Reid Hollis Elkins, age 78, born Nov. 19,1934. Deceased Jan. 31, 2013. Reid's parents were the late Joe and Lenora Elkins.
Reid is survived by his son Steven Reid Elkins (Lu), his grandchildren, Seth (Jessica), Benjamin, Sara, Mariah, Ehran, and Ethan Elkins. Their grandmother Oleta Sproul. Reid's brother Don Elkins, his daughters Dana and Donya, and Reid's best friend Vernette Ruff.
Reid was a service station owner in his early work career, and retired after a successful career in sales in the corrugated box industry. Reid was a member of St. Bartholomew's church. His favorite book was How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. "God Broke the mold when he made Reid H. Elkins, because he was one of a kind," W. F. Willis.
