10. NICHOLAS de HANBURY: (9 Geoffrey) In 1317, he was a witness to a charter given by Nicholas Sellock of Blickley to Robert Blickley and his son, John. In 1318, he and Henry de Hanbury witnessed a c onfirmation made by Thomas Cobhan, Bishop of Worcester. In the next year, he and his wife, Elizabeth, and his brother, Henry, were involved in some land deals. In 1319, he was appointed custodian o f the manor and forest of Feckenham by Edward II. He probably died before 1331, when Edward III ordered the sheriff of Worcester to cause a verderer to be elected for the forest of Feckenham, in plac e of Nicholas de Hanbury, deceased. Nicholas had a son, Reginald de Hanbury, who appeared between 1349 and 1390. The son held one-fourth of a knight's fee in Hanbury.
