SAS-F/51 - date: 1 Feb 1802 [from Scope and Content] Between ROBERT RUSSELL of Bodiam, clerk, and REBECCA his wife and JOHN TILDEN SAMPSON of Battle, esq., and CHARLES NAIRNE of Cornhill, London, stockbroker, Trustees appointed by the Court of Chancery under an Agreement of 1 May, 1777 by Charles Nairne of Millhouse in Cranbrook, co. Kent, esq. since decd., who was brother of the said Rebecca Russell and made previously to her marriage with the said Robert Russell. The said Robert and Rebecca Russell had two children, John and Frances. John Russell father of the said Robert died in 1788 and £1000 secured by Bond in the Agreement mentioned became payable and was paid to the said Robert Russell and the amount was invested in 5% Bank Annuities in his own name.
