History of Cambridge, Massachusetts, 1630-1877, p. 696, says Rebecca m. 1728 John Manning and "before 13 Dec 1763" John Wootton [when she was named in a deed as his wife]. A note printed in Source:NEHGR, p. 57:110, shows that she only married John Wooton, and that Rebecca (Pierce) Winship, widow of her uncle Nathaniel, was the one who married John Manning. The Rebecca that married John Manning did so in 1728 and John Manning was still alive in 1752, so she couldn't have been the same person who married John Wooten/Wooton in Boston 1731.
