    Rebecca M Walker (daughter of Francis Walker and Sarah Hetrick) was born May 20, 1803 in Buckingham County, Virginia, and died 1833 in Buckingham County, Virginia.She married Samuel Bondurant on July 30, 1822.

    Rebecca Walker Bondurant was the only child of Francis Walker born in America.She died when only 30 leaving a husband and 5 young children. Her husband died four years later shortly after emigrating to Perry County, Alabama.The orphaned children were raised by Thomas and Mary Ann Moseley Bondurant.Eldest daughter, Lucy, married the Rev. James K. Armstrong who served for 15 years as the principal of the Marion Female Seminary.Lucy's sister, Julie, also taught at the Seminary and her brother, John Francis, was a steward at the school.
