    [Note: a long discussion of Rebecca's name concludes she is the sister (per Sarah Shelley's will) of Sarah Shelley, who is apparently a widow, thus maiden name unknown. It further concludes that they may have had some relationship, possibly half-sister, to Capt. Isaac Addington, though there is no conclusive evidence of the exact relationship.]

  5.   John Farmer "Early History of Billerica" in referring to the death of Rebecca Chamberlain on 26 Sept 1692 said "She was probably a victim of the infatuation which prevailed at that time."
    No court records exist regarding a warrant for her arrest.
