Researchers George Andrews, Dick Beckenbaugh and Caspar Strahl's granddaughter claim Rebecca was a Strahl. They reference Hinshaw's, volume IV, page 552, among other sources. 1880 Census lists Rebecca's birthplace as Bavaria. Her daughter wrote her maiden name as Stall, not Strahl.
