Benjamin Bachelder (24), son of Benjamin (2): Carpenter and Farmer. Moved from Hampton Falls to Chester in 1734, and lived there the rest of his life. Pierce mixed him up wiht data belonging to Lieut. Benjamin Batchelder (No. 125).: He married first Rebecca Prescott, dau of John of Kensington, Sep 18, 1729. She was b. Aug 10 1704, and d. at Hampton Falls Oct. 20, 1732. His second wife was Elizabeth (Ambrose) Underhill, who he married between 1742 and 1745.: Isaac Blasdell was appointed administrator of the estate of Benjamin Bachelder, of Chester, yeoman, Dec 26, 1781. His real estate was divided, one half to Robert Willson and John Underhill, and one sixth each of to Daniel Bachelder, Eunice Bachelder, Jonathan Bachelder, grandchildren of the decedent. Wilson and Underhill had purchased the share of the three other grandchildren. (See Nos. 241 and 242 (post) (c. H. Batchelder - p 24)
