Rebecca J. Shirk Dies at Home from Complications -- Born in Urbana in 1840.

Funeral services for Rebecca J. Shirk, who died at her home in McComb Saturday at 10 o'clock, will be held from the home trhis morning at 9 o'clock, central standard time.

Death was due to a complication of diseases from which she had been ailing for several years. Mrs. Shirk was born in Urbana, Union county, June 11, 1840 and was united in marriage in 1875 at Urbana to John Shirk, who preceded her in death on April 2, 1908. For the past 50 years she had been a resident of McComb. No children were born to the union.

Since three years of age, Charles Morris has resided with her.
