Rebecca is named in the will of her grandmother, Amy WOMACK. No baptism has been found in North Lopham (up to 1840). Rebecca was found with her presumed father in 1841, even though her mother was described as a widow when buried in 1836.

1838 - The will of her grandmother, Amy WOMACK, leaves her one third of her estate, to be invested by the executor until Rebecca is twenty one and the interest used in the meantime for her benefit.

1841 - With father and step-mother at the Green, North Lopham, Norfolk. Aged 4, born in the county. Recorded as Betsy.

1843 - Buried, aged 6 1/2 years.
