Lived Market Place at time of marriage in 1839 Living Calais 1839 The entry for Rebeccas second marriage is incorrect as her name was registered as Rebecca Cresswell and it described her as a spinster but she was a widow and had a child.

Whilst I am no expert I am satisfied that the signatures of Rebecca in the 2 parish registers are identical.

Married on 19 nov 1838 at St Mary the virgin, Dover after banns read 21st Oct, 28th Oct, and 4th Nov 1838. witnesses at marriage were D Creswell and Mary Cook
