"I don't know too much about this person, my great-great Grandmother. S he was first married to John Henry Hughey, second to Robert Barnett. I b elieve her parents' names were Robert Alexander and Maneva Hughey. Her c hildren with John Hughey were: John W., b. Dec. 16, 1869; Maggie, born A pril 23, 1874; Robert Franklin, b. Oct. 23,1876 in Carter County, Kentu cky; Sellie Belle, b. May 21, 1879; William Edward, b. Oct. 25, 1881; S tellie Mae, B. Feb. 28, 1883; Mary Jane b. March 13, 1885. Maggie was m y great-Grandmother and born in Greenup, Kentucky. . . Siblings of Rebe cca Bell Alexander were Lucy, Florence, Furman, and Henry. I do not ha ve documentation for this. It was given to me by my aunt, a fellow gen ealogist." Identification of source person unknown as is the identity o f her aunt, but both were related to Rebecca Belle Alexander through Ma ggie Hughey.

The supplemental information ... ring[s] true to the birthdates of four of the five children in the 1910 Census report: John W., Robert Franklin, Sellie Belle (a.k.a. Sally), and William Edward. ... In addition, Henry Francis Hughey was incorrectly identified as "John Henry" Hughey.

I have no further information on the identity of Robert Barnett or which, if any children, Robert Barnett and Rebecca Belle Alexander had.

Note: Some think that Etta, wife of Clem Parsley, was also her daughter, but that reflects a confusion with the Joseph Hughey and Rebecca Harper family.
