THOMAS, Raymond Wellington Veteran of WWII December 17, 1923 - May 13, 2009 At the age of 85 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his children <names of living individuals have been removed.> Grandfather to <names of living individuals have been removed.> He will be missed by his sister <living> and his nieces and nephews. He was an active and founding member of the Stittsville Lions Club, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 593 and People Meeting People social club. On Thursday, May 21st, 2009 at Stittsville United Church, 6255 Fernbank Road, Stittsville, family and friends are invited to visit from 6 - 7 pm, followed by a memorial service at 7 pm. A reception will follow at the Stittsville Lions Hallat 4-1339 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation.
