Raymond R Reinbolt, 85, of Millbury OH, passed away on Wednesday, July 2 3, 2003, at Genoa Care Center, with his children at his side. He is reunit ed at last with his beloved wife, Frances, who passed away in Decemb er of 2001, and his grandson, Curt. Raymond was born on November 4, 191 7, in Bascom OH, to the late John and Pearl (Andrews) Reinbolt. He attend ed Genoa High School and served his country in the US Army during WWII sta tioned in Japan. Ray was employed for the Sun Oil Company as a pipefitt er for 37 years, before his retirement in 1978. He was an active memb er of the German American Club, 4th degree Knights of Columbus of Walbrid ge and a member of St. Jerome Church. Raymond loved fishing, gardening a nd canning his famous pickles and peppers. He is survived by his sons, James (Becky), David (Marilyn), Robert (Debbie ), Wm (Jamie) and Richard; daughter, Christine Long; brother, John Reinbol t; sisters, Eleanor Nolte and Sr Mary Damian; grandchildren, Sarah, Pau l, Tom, Lea, Carrie, Raquel, Lindsey and Julie, and great-grandchildren, S ydney, Simon, Sylvie, Rachel, Zev, and Skye. Visitation will be held in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral HomeWoodvil le Rd Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd, on Sunday, July 27, 2003 from 2 p.m. unt il 9 p.m., where the Knights of Columbus will be standing honor guard fr om 5 until 9 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Monday at 10:30 a.m. a nd proceed to St. Jerome Church for 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Inte rment will be in Lake Twp Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Raymond's na me may be made to the Curt Reinbolt Scholarship Fund, Genoa High School, 2 980 N Genoa Clay Center Rd., Genoa OH 43430.
