LINN, RAYMOND J. 6844 Jeannette Haslett

Age 67, died August 29, 1985 in Battle Creek, born July 23, 1918 in Lansing. Mr. Linn was a veteran of World War II, receiving 5 Bronze Stars. Bronze Arrowhead, and Good Conduct Ribbon. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #269, Haslett. He is survived by his wife, Mary; 2 daughters Barbara Tremblay, and Delores Mcconnell, both of Lansing; 1 son Richard Beckhorn, also of Lansing; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; mother, Kattie Linn of Okemos; 2 brothers, Richard Linn of Pewamo and LeRoy Linn of Lansing; 3 sisters, Marie Theusch of Lansing, Cecelia Zydron of Chicago, and Frances Linn of Okemos; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:30 a.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Lansing Chapel with the Rev. Francis J. Faraci of The Church of the Resurrection officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Military graveside services will be by the American Legion Post #269, Haslett. Casket bearers will be members of the American Legion Post #269, Haslett. The family will receive friends during holiday hours at the Funeral Home, Monday, 7-9 p.m., where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m.
