Raymond Martin Larsen, 81, of Fords died Thursday, July 3, 2008, at his home.
Born in Keasbey, he resided most of his life in Fords. He was a lab technician with Tenneco Chemicals in Fords for 30 years, retiring in 1983. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in Fords. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
His wife, Margaret Dudik Larsen, died in 1992. He was also predeceased by a brother, Lawrence Larsen, and a sister, Margaret Wolzanski. He is survived by a son, Martin Raymond Larsen and his companion, Julie Fear of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; a daughter, Marguerite and her husband, Mark Douglas of Fords; two grandsons, John Raymond Douglas and his companion, Peter Bloodgood, and Evan Martin Douglas and his wife, Veronica, and four sisters, Dolores Nota of Spotswood, Gloria Swiderski of North Port, Fla., Marie Badilla of Los Angeles, Calif., and Patricia Benderoth of Lakeland, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 7, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, Fords. Burial will be at St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
