Dolores Nota (nee Larsen), 81, died Friday, April 29, 2011, at the Pine Brook Care Center in Englishtown. She was born in Keasbey, spent most of her life in Fords, and resided in Spotswood for 15 years. Dolores was a homemaker, LPN, and former communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords.
She is predeceased by her late husband, Dominic "Spike" Nota, who died in 1991; her brothers: Raymond and Larry Larsen, and Margie Wolzanski. Dolores is survived by her son, Dennis R. Nota of Sewaren; her daughter, Valerie Balog and her husband John of Michigan; 4 grandchildren: Lynda, Gina Marie, and Lisa Ann Nota and Charles Balog; three sisters: Patricia Benderoth and Gloria Swiderski both of FL, and Marie Badilla of CA.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, May 2, 2011, at 8:30 am from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, followed by a 9:00 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, May 1, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00.
