Raymond G. "Ray" Fritz, 68, of Windsor, Missouri, died Friday morning, December 2, 2005, at his home in Windsor, Mo. He was born February 26, 1937, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Leonard Theodore Fritz and Anna Olive (Lauver) Fritz. On October 17, 1959, at Whiteman Air Force Base, Knob Noster, he married Carol Ann Tullis, who survives of the home. Ray graduated in, 1955, from Roosevelt High School, in Dayton Ohio. He retired from the United States Air Force, after 20 years and 6 days of service, having served in North Africa, Vietnam, Newfoundland and Hawaii. After his retirement from the military, he worked at Gardner-Denver, in Sedalia, Mo. He was an avid sports fan, especially of football, and enjoyed riding motorcycles and crappie fishing. He attended First Baptist Church, Windsor. In addition to his wife, Ray is survived by a son, Ray Fritz, Jr., Marysville, California; a daughter, Kelly Fritz, Blue Springs, Mo.; 5 grandchildren, James Fritz, Kristen Fritz, Sandra Fritz, Tabitha Fritz and Kristen Fritz; 2 sisters, Janet Curtis, Clayton, Ohio; Edy Wine, Dayton, Ohio; a brother, Gary Fritz, Palm Bay, Florida; his mother-in-law, Alice Tullis; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Leonard Kent Fritz. Funeral services will be Monday, December 5, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, Mo. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor.
