Checked Fairview High School 1914 yearbook - he is not on the baseball team. Unfortunately, the next year of Fairview High School yearbooks that the Dayton Metro Library or Ancestry.com has is 1923. Also available: 1924, 1925, 1926, and 1929. If his siblings are younger, they may be in these yearbooks.

Was there any high school or semi-professional/minor league baseball during 1917-1918 due to World War I? USA declared war on Germany on 6 Apr 1917. Armistice was declared on 11 Nov 1918. Might local baseball have resumed by 1919? The major league did resume in 1919. Did not find any newspaper articles about him in 1919.

NCR News (National Cash Register) July 1919 volume VI No 1, page 96. Here are some baseball players. Unfortunately, individual names are not listed. No idea if any of them are Raymond Brown(e) or not. Dayton Metro Library and Dayton History both own NCR News. The problem is there is no name index. It would be almost impossible to find an individual photograph from 1919-1930 until these are scanned and key word searchable. If a player is not identified, even this will not help.
