Ray J. Van Wagoner of Lake Orion died Jan. 27, 1980 at the age of 80. Mr. Van Wagoner is survived by his wife, Gladys, sons William of Oxford and Robert of Reno, Nevada and grandsons Neil and Bruce. He was the step-brother of David Varran and Ervilla Stoelt. Mr. Van Wagoner was a member of the Lake Orion United Methodist Church and was the owner of Van Wagoner's Drug Store in Lake Orion. He was a member of the Lake Orion Rotary Club, a life member of the Lake Orion Masonic Lodge 46, Order of the Eastern Star, Detroit Shrine No. 1, Life Member of the Pontiac Elks Lodge No. 1. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 31, at 11 a.m., from the Lake Orion United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Oxford Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to Lake Orion United Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements were conducted by the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home.

Funeral services Thursday, January 31 at 11 am at the Lake Orion United Methodist Church. Internment Oxford Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 pm on Tuesday at the Lake Orion Chapel Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Suggested visiting hours 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. The family requests memorials to the Lake Orion United Methodist Church.
