Rasmine lost her first child only 4 days after the baby girl was born. She was buried in Skouby, Denmark. Ola and Rasmine would survive five more of their children, only nine of their fifteen children survived to adulthood.
Rasmine and Ola traveled to the United States with their children, arriving in New York City, New York, on 23 Jun 1884.
Rasmine and Ola moved to Pleasant Grove, Utah, almost immediately after arriving in the United States and raised their family there. Most people knew Rasmine simply as "Minnie." Both Ole and Minnie died and were buried in Pleasant Grove.
