    Ransom Seale died Oct. 9th at his home in Greenville, aged about 40. He was born near the Rocky Creek Beat, the son of William Seale, who survived him and Rulinsey, erst Hilson, a mother whose loss was one of the greatest sorrows of his life. He was clerk of the Circuit Court and was married to Mary Hartsfield of Monterey who survives him with 5 children. Was a member of the Methodist Church. (10/14/1885) (Born 6/27/1841). Published in The Greenville Advocate.
