- wife Sarah Walby - for life: 1 acre 1 rood 17½ poles land in a field "called Danefield next adjoining to Walkern Hedge, abutting on the close called Bilts on the north and the land of Sir Charles Caesar on the South"; copyhold tenement "where I now live with a garden thereto adjoining called Birds, lying at Church End in Walkern"; 2 acres of land called Clabwel lying near Hogsbridge; 1 rood of arable land at Churchend field in Walkern between the land late of Edward Shepherd towards the west and of Francis Exton towards the east and abuts upon the land of William Hurst gentleman at both ends; and 1 acre close of pasture also in Walkern between the lands late of Edward Shepherd towards the east and the lands of Francis Exton towards the west - after wife Sarah's death above estate equally to five daughters Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth, Jane & Anne Walby
- wife Sarah - for life: Pightle or pasture at Benington between Buck Lane and the lands of Christopher Kent - after wife Sarah's death this land to second son Ralph on condition he pays his eldest brother George Walby £5
- eldest son George Walby - "all that my stal in the Butchers shambles in the market place at Hertford"
- to Executrix [wife Sarah?] - tenement called Salmons situate at Berriegreen in Benington "between the land late John Middletons gent on the east and the land sometime Thomas Odies als Hoyws and late Robert Triswels eggs[?] on the west one head thereof abutteth upon Berriegreen aforesaid towards the north and the other head thereof abutteth upon a certain close there called Tripshaws towards the south" to be sold to pay debts - any overplus equally to children then living
