Ralph J. Turney, 39, husband of Evelyn Mathews Turney, of 1820 Ninth Avenue, Freedom, died Wednesday Aug 21, 1968 In National Institute of Health, Bethesda, MD following an extended illness. A veteran of the Korean War he was employed by Westinghouse Electric Corp, Beaver. Mr. Turney was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Ambridge, and Local 201 I.B.E.W. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Ralph Peter and Robert James, both at home; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Ralph J. Turney Sr, Aliquiippa, and four sisters Mrs. Helen Jeffers, Aliquippa, Mrs. Thelma Rambo Vanport, Mrs. Dorothy Messenger New Brighton, and Mrs. Betty Koletich, Aliquippa. Friends will be received today from 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 in the Jack L Gross Funeral Home, Freedom where a service will be conducted monday at 1pm followed by a service at 1:30pm in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Rev Fr Theodore Sideris will officiate. Interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
