Daily Times-News, The Tuesday, June 25, 1974 MR. AND Mrs.. RALPH K. ISLEY SR. Isleys Are Honored On 50th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs.. Ralph K ISLEY Sr. of Route 2. Snow Camp, were honored with a reception celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday. June 16, in the fellowship hall of Cane Creek Friends Meetinghouse. Mrs.. ISLEY was presented with a corsage of yellow roses to complement her blue crepe dress. Guests were greeted by Mrs.. Ruby ISLEY, and the Misses Rhonda and Louisa .ISLEY. granddaughters of the honored couple. registered guests and presented them with a printed commemoration of the occasion. Sons of the honored couple, Alvin M Lewis K.. Harold G. and Ralph K. ISLEY Jr... presented guests to their parents. The serving table was covered with a white linen tablecloth overlaid with lace and accented with cascades of gold and yellow ribbon caught up with lily of the valley. The centerpiece was a gold candelabrum featuring an arrangement of yellow roses. Mrs.. Florence Staley, Mrs. Joanna ISLEY, Mrs.. Shirley ISLEY and Mrs.. Ann Staley assisted in serving cake, mints, nuts and punch. Tony ISLEY, grandson of the honored guests, and Miss Becky Swift assisted at the gift table which was covered with a white satin tablecloth with lace inserts and centered with an arrangement of roses. The family received approximately 150 guests, between the hours of 3 and 5 o'clock.
