DEATH: http://www.geocities.com/sviehweg/gra1999.html The Joplin Globe Mon., November 22, 1999 Ralph O. Aday Ralph O. Aday, age 72, of Granby, died at 9:25 a.m. Saturday at Freeman Neosho Hospital after a short illness. He was born October 8, 1927 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Emmitt and Patty (Gattis) Aday. Mr. Aday was ordained as a Baptist Minister in 1950 at the Hobart First Baptist Church. He served in the ministry from 1950 until 1982, pastoring churches in Oklahoma, Texas, Kentucky, and Missouri. He was in the Navy during World War II, serving from 1945 until 1948. He moved to Granby, Missouri in 1983. From 1983 to 1993 he worked as a builder. He was a member of the Ritchey Baptist Church. He married Wanda Marie Reeves in Hobart, Oklahoma, and she survives. Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Clark Funeral Chapel in Granby. Interment will take place at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hobart Cemetery in Hobart, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday. Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home of Granby. |
