Hermanus was taxed as a household in Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon County, NJ in 1778. He owned one cow and one pig. His name does not appear on the 1780 tax list. The family may have moved to Morris County, NJ area as their son, Richard, was married there." (p 238) NOTE: Rachel Webster would be correct age to be child of Benjamin and Rachel (Skinner) Webster.

QUESTION: No spouse given above. Is this the correct man, and if so, then was their marriage delayed? This is supported by the fact that they did not have their first child until 1774.
